The paper mill from České Budějovice, which is already 135 years old since its foundation, decided to open a branch in the capital city of Prague in Jindřišská Street adjacent to Wenceslas Square.

Islands, stands, walls

All metal elements manufactured by us were delivered to the stationery shop to be used as exhibition elements. All elements were painted with polyurethane paint and maximum attention was paid to keeping clean lines, connecting elements without visible welds. The realization was designed by Atelier Monday, who was consulted on our design of the individual elements.

Construction work.

Atelier Monday supplied us with drawings of the required elements and our task was to design the connections so that the design was not compromised. In such realizations the visibility of welding points is undesirable.

Production and surface treatment.

MAG and TIG welding were combined in the production process. TIG welds are used for invisibility and sharp connection of the material. The fabrication required bending of the tubular material and precision laser forming.
